About Us
For years I suffered from chronic knee problems. Eventually
I also had persistent heel and low back pain. I was so uncomfortable
that I worried that I would end up essentially crippled. Receiving
focused soft tissue bodywork was the first type of therapy that gave
me any kind of relief. That’s when I decided to go back to school
and start a new career as a professional bodyworker. I began as a
Certified Massage Therapist and, although I felt I was helping people,
I was dissatisfied with the results I was seeing. The improvements
my clients experienced were too short-lived and their tissue never seemed
to really change. In
addition, I was noticing negative effects in my own body from performing
massage work.
Then I discovered the PUSH TherapySM system.
I was immediately impressed with the positive changes I felt in my own body after receiving PUSH treatments. I was also drawn to the program because of its emphasis on making long-lasting structural changes in the client’s body while minimizing wear and tear on me, the therapist.
Now, using PUSH Therapy in my practice, I am getting better, more dramatic results with my clients while safeguarding my own health. But PUSH is more than just another technique. It is a complete therapy system. Incorporating the PUSH Treatment PlanSM into my own life has allowed me to make enduring changes to my body so that I no longer have to equate growing older with accumulating pain and diminished enjoyment of activities. I feel ten times better than I did just a few years ago. My goal is to feel even better in the future.
I was fortunate enough to be one of the first therapists to be trained and certified by Michael Takatsuno, the founder and developer of PUSH Therapy. Besides my own personal practice, I am an Instructor with PUSH TrainingsSM.
